Our university offers excellent academic programs for the degrees Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. Our Nursing program consistently garners 100% passing rate in the Philippine Nursing Licensure Examination and maintains Level III Accreditation from the Association of Christian Schools, Colleges and Universities – Accrediting Agency Incorporated (ACSCU-AAI). Alumni of our College occupy prominent positions in the fields of Nursing and Nutrition in the Philippines, Asia, Australia, Middle East, Canada, America and Europe.

We believe that:
MAN is a unique being with dignity and worth, created by God – his center. He goes through life in a predictable sequence in continuous adaptation to a changing environment as an integral whole. HEALTH is a basic human right and a responsibility of both the individual and the state.
NURSING is a dynamic discipline, which is an art, and a science of caring for individuals, families,and communities geared towards promotion and restoration of health, prevention of and recovery from illness, and support and comfort when death is inevitable. As man’s needs vary in response to the many changes taking place in his society, nursing is likewise modified to meet this changing requirements. It utilizes scientific principles and interpersonal tools, which may be carried out independently or in coordination with other members of the health team.
Nutrition and Dietetics is concerned in providing leadership and assumes responsibilities for the promotion of the nutritional well – being of individuals and groups within the framework of community life. These responsibilities include the preventive, therapeutic and food service administration aspects of nutritional care of clients across the lifespan in varied settings.
THE STUDENT is a person with distinct capabilities and level of maturity. He/She learns best when provided with related learning experiences for observing and applying concepts learned in the classroom, as well as for synthesizing new concepts.

The Nursing and Nutritionist-Dietitian education is consistent with the philosophy of higher education and committed to quality education that involves teaching – learning in seeking the truth. It aims to develop the full potentialities of the student for a productive,satisfying life as a competent health practitioner, translating the Christian ideal of service to God through His genuine concern for people and reverence for human life.
The educational program helps the student to be caring, responsible, nationalistic,creative and critical thinking individual. It helps the student to acquire basic knowledge, skills and attitudes essential in giving comprehensive health care in beginning position whenever professional nursing and nutritionist-dietitian is practiced.
The curriculum is planned and implemented so that the graduate:
- Integrates spiritual values and principles of physio – bio – psychosocial sciences in the care of clients utilizing the health care process as its framework.
- Assumes leadership role and responsibilities in varying circumstances.
- Assumes responsibility for professional growth through continuing education and involvement in professional socio-civic organizations.
- Adapts to varying situations by accepting values different from his/her own.
- Initiates and participates in conduction of research to enhance the body of knowledge for enrichment of the profession.
- Functions as a self-directed individual and as a dynamic citizen who is responsive to national needs and aware of global concerns.
- Upholds the ideals of the alma mater and the profession at all times
The BSN is a four-year program consisting of general education and professional courses. Professional courses begin in the first year and threads through the development of competencies up the fourth year level. The BSN program provides an intensive nursing practicum that will refine clinical skills from the first year level to ensure basic clinical competencies required of a beginning nurse practitioner.
The BSN program aims to produce a fully functioning nurse who is able to perform the competencies under each of the Key Areas of Responsibility.

Nutrition and Dietetics education in the undergraduate level is designed to adequately equip the students with the fundamental knowledge, attitudes and skills in foods, nutrition, dietetics, management and allied fields in order to prepare them for entry level professional responsibilities in education and communication, food and nutrition research, clinical dietetics, food service industries and public health nutrition.
It is concerned in providing leadership and assumes responsibilities for the promotion of the nutritional well- being of individuals and groups within the framework of community life. These responsibilities include the preventive, therapeutic and food service administration aspects of nutritional care combined with teaching and research.
The course has three specializations:
1. Community nutrition and public health;
2. Hospital nutrition and dietetics with a strong bio-medical sciences;
3. Food and beverage service administration for hospitality industry.
A graduate of this program is eligible to become a Registered Nutritionist-Dietician, and be a member of some accredited organizations for nutritionists for professional growth.
The Nutrition Unit aims to attain the following objectives:
1. Program Objectives. The Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics aims to prepare graduates to work as nutritionists and dietitians, in answer to the growing recognition of the importance of nutrition to health. At the end of the educational program in Nutrition and Dietetics, at least 95% of the students are expected to:
1.1 Translate understanding of nutrition theories, health sciences, research principles and methodologies into the practice of the Nutrition profession.
1.2 Integrate Christian values in the care of clients across the lifespan in varied settings.
1.3 Demonstrate nutrition and dietetics skills in various settings.
1.4 Upholds the ideals of the Alma Mater at all times.
2. Financial Success.
2.1 The unit aims to attract more students in the BSND program through effective promotion
2.1.1 10 % increase in the number of students per year level
2.2.2 15 % increase in the number of freshmen
2.2.3 To reduce by 90% accounts receivables from BSND students by encouraging enrolees to pay in full upon enrolment and through implementation of No permit no exam policy of the university.
3. Customer Success.
3.1 70 % employment rate a year after graduation
3.1 90 % of BSND graduates take the board exam
3.2 70 % passing rate in the board exam
4. Faculty Development
4.1 100 % faculty members have their master degree
4.2 100 % of the faculty are involved in research
4.2.1 At least 50% faculty have one research output per year.
4.2.2 At least 25 % of research output are presented and published in the university journal

5.1 100 % faculty use multimedia classroom instructions
5.2 Library collections are updated with textbooks and journals
5.3 100 % classroom and laboratory adequacy and availability to the course offerings per semester
5.4 100 % faculty are available for students’ consultation as reflected in the faculty schedule
5.5 90 % faculty attain an excellent rating in the student evaluation.
5.6 75 % students pass major examinations in the professional courses.
5.7 100 % faculty submit updated syllabi and course designs every semester.
5.8 Objectives in the course syllabi are 100% attained.
5.9 100 % compliance of faculty to policies on submission of grades.
5.10 Attain an excellent rating in the exit interview of graduates.
The College of Nursing and Allied Health (CNAH) offers the course leading to the degree of Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN). The curriculum integrates both specialist and generalist perspectives of the nursing science, concepts, and theories from related disciplines along with practice, research, and management and administration.
The Master of Arts in Nursing Program aims to develop and nurture professional nursing leaders and competent practitioners for a healthy Filipino nation.
